Job Summary
Simply The Best Stage School is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Class Leader to launch our brand-new Early Years Musical Theatre class for children aged 3–6.
This is an exciting opportunity to help young children develop confidence, creativity and a love of performing through singing, drama, movement and imaginative play.
Working alongside our Director, you will plan and deliver engaging weekly sessions in a fun, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to participate and grow. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging musical theatre sessions for children aged 3–6.
- Teach basic singing, drama, movement and imaginative play activities.
- Create a fun, safe and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Encourage confidence, creativity and participation.
- Work closely with the Director and Class Assistant.
- Prepare children for performances and community events.
- Communicate professionally with parents and carers.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety and company policies.
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
- Empathy and patience when working with learners of varying abilities.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing classroom needs or organisational priorities.
- Previous experience in education or youth programmes is desirable but not essential; a genuine interest in student development is required.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative independently.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
