We have an exciting opportunity for a band 2 Ward Clerk The post is 0.80 hours per week working Monday , Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday hours of working 8 am - 4 pm
The Ward Clerk is the focal point of communication between the patients, doctors and other clinical and non-clinical staff. As first point of contact to ensure visitors are greeted when arriving on the ward
The role also has responsibility for Registering and Discharging patients onto EPR.To deal with incoming post, scanning, photocopying records and any other instructions commensurate to the role.
Receive and action or forward incoming/outgoing mail.
Assist medical staff with ad hoc administration type enquiries.
Contribute to the reception base on the ward and provide an effective day to day Reception
Provide clerical and administrative support to other staff groups as appropriate.
Participate in identified training and personal development.
Assist with health promotion and other related activities as necessary.
Maintain supplies of certain items of stationery and supplies for the administration team
