We are looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant to work in our Limited Company Department
At Broadbent’s we are a very forward-thinking firm in respect of technology – we were the first firm in the country to file a quarterly update for MTD for ITSA.
We are therefore looking for a team member who has got good digital skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Manager in the Limited Company department ensuring deadlines are met.
The main duties will be as follows :-
- Preparation of accounts for limited companies
- Speaking with client to discuss any issues
- Preparing Tax Returns for directors
- Looking after a portfolio of clients in respect of Digital Accounting
- Dealing with clients questions
- Speaking to clients on a daily basis
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes: –
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience
- Good communication skills
- AAT part qualified
- Experience of cloud accounting software
- IT Literate as most of the work will involve accounting software
- Self motivated
- To be able to work as part of a team
- Good time keeping
- Be willing to learn on the job
We will provide training for doing the AAT exams.
Salary will be dependent on experience.
