Job Description
We are looking for a full time member of staff who would like to work towards their Early Years Qualification so you can provide an excellent standard of care and education for children aged from birth to four years of age and also work closely with our afterschool club children 4 years to 11 years. The candidate needs to be hard working and have a passion to work with young children. You need to be able to work as part of a team and help each other when needed, work closely with families and be able to carry out daily written observations.
Main Duties & Professional Responsibilities:
- Be professional and respectful at all times and work closely as a team
- To follow all procedures and policies
- The children's needs always come first and they are our main priority
- You need to be able to play at floor level and communicate with the children at all times
- To maintain children’s profiles through observations, tracking and planned next steps.
- Be responsible for all key group of children, communicate with parents and keep all records up to date
- Help with everyday cleaning of the nursery
- To maintain confidentiality at all times
- You will need to be able to meet your key child's needs e.g. nappy changing, bottle preparation, toilet training etc.
- To positively manage children’s behaviour
- To work as part of a team and be able to follow instructions

Applicant will need a GCSE in English and Maths.
