Our friendly, close-knit dental practice in Bournemouth is actively looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside Support: Provide high-quality clinical support to our dentists, hygienists, and therapists during patient treatments.
- Surgery Preparation: Set up and prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary materials and instruments are ready and in good working order.
- Infection Control: Maintain, decontaminate, and sterilise equipment, and safely segregate/dispose of clinical waste according to practice policy.
- Patient Care: Warmly escort patients from the waiting room to the surgery, confirm medical histories are up to date, and ensure they feel comfortable.
- Admin & Lab Work: Assist with accurate patient record-keeping, check that required laboratory work is returned before sessions, and liaise with reception regarding appointments.
- Stock Control: Monitor surgery stock levels, communicate shortages, and assist with ordering.

For Trainees (No Experience Required):
- A genuine enthusiasm to break into the dental industry.

- A flexible, proactive approach to learning on the job.
For Qualified Nurses:
- GDC Registration.
- Experience assisting with radiographs (dependent on training level).
- Strong knowledge of dental ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and compliance.
