Role Overview:
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen team and maintaining a clean, efficient, and well-organised kitchen. This is a hands-on role that requires energy, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all kitchen areas are clean, tidy, and hygienic at all times
- Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Manage waste and recycling duties in line with health and safety standards
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly used
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Right to work in the UK
