Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the café.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including workstations and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or as a Barista is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to food safety practices and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour.
