Office Administrator (Part-Time Mornings) — Twyford, Reading (RG10)

We're a family-run haulage firm that's been part of haulage since the 1950s — our trucks deliver everywhere from London building sites to Buckingham Palace. The office is the engine room that keeps those wheels turning, and we need another organised, friendly pair of hands on weekday mornings. The hours fit neatly around the school run.
The job
- First voice on the phone — customers booking deliveries, drivers calling in from the road, suppliers
- Booking jobs in, raising delivery paperwork and chasing PODs (proof of delivery — we'll teach you the jargon)
- Data entry and invoicing support — accuracy matters more than speed
- Post, filing, greeting visitors and drivers, and keeping the office running smoothly
- Helping the transport team keep the day on track
What you'll need
- Organised, accurate and friendly on the phone — you'll often be someone's first impression of Bennetts
- Comfortable with email and the basics of Word and Excel
- Office experience in haulage, construction or logistics is a bonus — but not required, because we'll train you properly
What we offer
- £12.90 an hour while we train you, rising to £14.00 an hour once training and probation are complete (roughly £18,200 a year at 25 hours)
- Steady, predictable hours — 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, every week
