We are now looking for experienced Machine operatives to join our team based in Sheffield S3
About the role
- Working as part of a team processing waste within our busy recycling facility
Material Handler Machines MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE ON - FUCH 320 / 350, CASE 360, ATLAS EXPERIENCE
Must enjoy working outside, and physically fit and able to work as part of a team in a safe manner
Benefits for our Plant/Machine Operatives
- Permanent - Monday-Friday; 07:00 - 17:00, Saturday 07:00 - 12:00
- Overtime paid after 40 hours at time and half
- Excellent rate of pay – dependent on experience.6 weeks (28 days) holiday per year. This includes the 8 listed statutory days
- Up to £14.00 per hour paid inclusive of bonus

Day to day duties for our Plant-Machine Operators
- Ensuring free flow of material though the processing plants.
- Ensuring a clean and tidy site is maintained throughout the working day.
- Plant inspections/general maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Working as part of the team in all areas of the site.
Operating a 360 Excavator.
- Loading the Sandvik Trommel to feed the picking station
- Sorting/moving waste with machine.
- Ensuring the rules and regulations pertaining to the waste management licence are upheld (as advised by the management).
- Alerting the management of any defects.
- General routine day to day maintenance of assigned plant.
- Working in other parts or the business if required.
