Duties of the Commercial Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnose, repair, and service Volkswagen LCV and VAG vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Use diagnostic equipment effectively to identify faults and repair issues
- Perform routine maintenance, complex repairs, and component replacements
- Communicate with customers to explain work carried out and provide recommendations
- Complete accurate documentation in line with brand and warranty procedures
- Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness standards
- Road-test vehicles post-repair to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a commercial vehicle technician or similar role
- Knowledge of Volkswagen LCV or VAG products is advantageous
- Strong diagnostics and problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualifications in vehicle repair and diagnostics
