The Role
We are looking for an experienced Sprayer to join our busy workshop team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous experience in furniture spraying or a similar environment, who takes pride in producing a consistently high-quality finish.
Working within our workshop, you will be responsible for the preparation and spraying of timber and MDF displays and components, using a range of coatings and spraying techniques.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing timber and MDF surfaces ready for finishing
- Applying paints, lacquers and stains to a high standard
- Working with PU and A/C paints and coatings
- Using conventional spraying techniques
- Operating airless, air-assisted and/or conventional spray systems
- Ensuring the correct preparation and application of coatings
- Checking finished work to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Working effectively as part of the wider workshop and production team
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous professional spraying experience, ideally within furniture, joinery, displays or a similar environment
- Good knowledge of PU and A/C paints, lacquers and stains
- Experience using airless, air-assisted and/or conventional spraying systems
- A good understanding of coating and finishing processes
- Experience preparing timber and MDF prior to spraying
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing a high-quality finish
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable and conscientious approach to work
