Overview
We are seeking a Bank Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to kitchen department. As a Bank Cook/KA, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those requiring assistance, in the absence of the regular Chefs/Cooks.
Duties
- To undertake the duties and responsibilities of the Chef/Cook in the absence of the regular staff.
- Preparation of meals for the service users and staff as per the guidelines and in accordance to the menus provided.
- Follow the policies and procedures as applicable.
- Offer first aid when necessary.
- Follow online training as required for the job role.
- Deliver person centred customer care with empathy and respect
- Support residents with nutritious meals
- Typical shift patterns 7.00am to 6.00 pm for Cook role and 8.30am to 3.00pm or 12.00pm to 6.30pm for KA role.
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
