At the application stage, candidates will be assessed on CV, Statement of suitability and the following behaviour:

Please provide a personal statement of no more than 500 words. For your statement of suitability, please demonstrate how you meet the essential and desirable criteria as listed in the 'Person specification' section of the job advert.

Should a large number of applications be received, an initial sift may be undertaken using the Behaviour: Communicating and Influencing. Candidates who pass the initial sift may be progressed to a full sift, or progressed straight to assessment/interview.

What are the key components for a stakeholder and communications plan to establish and grow the new Government Grants Profession? What are the barriers to delivery and how would you overcome them?

New entrants are expected to join on the minimum of the pay band.
Applicants who are successful at interview will be, as part of pre-employment screening, subject to a check on the Internal Fraud Database (IFD). This check will provide information about employees who have been dismissed for fraud or dishonesty offences. This check also applies to employees who resign or otherwise leave before being dismissed for fraud or dishonesty had their employment continued. Any applicants details held on the IFD will be refused employment.
