Job Summary
We are looking to recruit an Experienced Stone Sawyer/Foreman to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating advanced saw equipment to cut natural limestone and sandstone to exact specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail. The Sawyer will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality.
This is a permanent position working on a shift basis 1.30 to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Operate advanced saw equipment, including setting up and adjusting tools as necessary.
- Conduct materials handling tasks, including the safe movement of materials within the factory.
- Employ basic maths skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Requirements
- Training will be provided where necessary.
- Proficiency in using schedules and templates.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaboration within the team.
- Forklift licence essential
