Are you a detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment? We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Financial Operations team and play a vital role in ensuring our finance processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll take ownership of key finance tasks and contribute to the success of our operations:
Accounts Payable

Process supplier invoices accurately and on time

Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes

Manage the AP inbox, responding to and resolving queries efficiently

Set up and maintain supplier accounts using our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics)

Prepare and process supplier payment runs

Ensure all payments are correctly authorised
Supplier Reconciliations

Reconcile supplier statements to the purchase ledger

Investigate and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams

Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records

Escalate any outstanding issues when required
General Finance Support

Assist with supplier onboarding and vendor setup

Support ESG audits by maintaining supplier data

Help ensure compliance with financial controls and internal policies

Collaborate with colleagues across the finance team

Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects and tasks
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
-
Strong understanding of purchase ledger and reconciliations
-
Confident using Excel and finance systems
-
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication and organisational skills
-
A proactive, team-oriented mindset
Desirable (but not essential)

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP systems

Studying towards (or part-qualified in) AAT or another finance qualification
