Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repair of roofing systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install roofing materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation to facilitate efficient project progress
- Execute roofing tasks including waterproofing, sealing, flashing installation, and ventilation setup with attention to detail
- Assist with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other related trades as needed for integrated roofing solutions
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Experience with welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing or related construction skills
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to roofing applications
- Knowledge of roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, membranes, and insulation products
