Ipswich Road Pharmacy is looking for an enthusiastic newly qualified pharmacist to join our community pharmacy in Norwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently passed the GPhC registration assessment, is awaiting registration, or has recently joined the GPhC register.
Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is available for a suitable eligible candidate.
About the role
You will work as the Responsible Pharmacist and help provide a safe, efficient and patient-focused pharmacy service. The role will have a strong focus on developing NHS and private clinical services alongside the safe supply of medicines.
Key responsibilities
Carry out the professional and clinical checking of prescriptions.
Ensure the safe and effective supply of medicines.
Provide clear advice and counselling to patients.
Deliver NHS services, including Pharmacy First and other commissioned services.
Support the development of private healthcare and vaccination services.
Maintain high professional, legal and patient-safety standards.
Work closely with the pharmacy team and support staff development.
Follow company procedures, GPhC standards and pharmacy SOPs.
Build positive relationships with patients, GP practices and other healthcare professionals.
Help grow the pharmacy through excellent patient care and service delivery.
What we are looking for
Passed the GPhC registration assessment and eligible to register as a pharmacist, or already registered with the GPhC.
Applications from newly qualified pharmacists are particularly welcomed.
Good communication and patient-care skills.
A professional, reliable and supportive approach.
Willingness to learn and develop clinical service skills.
Ability to work effectively with the wider pharmacy team.
Confidence in taking responsibility for the safe operation of the pharmacy.
Availability to work Saturday mornings as required.
