Job Summary

As a Guitar Tutor, you will develop personalised lesson plans, motivate students to achieve their goals, and create a fun, engaging atmosphere that encourages creativity and progress.
Duties
- Deliver engaging guitar lessons tailored to each student’s skill level, musical interests, and learning style
- Develop customised lesson plans that incorporate technical skills, music theory, and performance techniques
- Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students to practice regularly and improve their skills
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special educational needs or learning challenges
- Maintain clear communication with students and parents about lesson objectives, progress, and upcoming goals
- Organise recitals or performance opportunities to showcase student achievements and boost confidence
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching guitar to diverse age groups and skill levels
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey musical concepts and inspire students
- Experience working with children and adults
- Knowledge of special education practices to support students with unique learning needs
- Passion for music education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that balance technical instruction with creative exploration
- Flexibility to adapt lessons based on individual student goals and progress
