St Mary’s School, Cambridge is seeking to appoint a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy Catering Department.
We are looking for an individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation and enjoys working as part of a supportive team. Reporting to the Catering Manager and working closely with the wider catering team, the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the school’s kitchens and dining facilities.
This practical and varied role includes washing dishes, utensils, and catering equipment, as well as maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas. The Kitchen Porter will also assist with basic food preparation when required, receive and store deliveries and help ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
