About Swann Sleep
Swann Sleep is a British mattress manufacturer based in Bristol, supplying trade and B2B customers across the UK. We manufacture our own collections in-house, including our exclusive UK licence for Copper Fresh antimicrobial technology, developed with 12 years of R&D alongside the University of Birmingham. Due to continued growth, we're looking for reliable, hands-on Production and Warehouse Operatives to join our Bristol factory.
The Role
We have various full-time and part-time positions available across our production floor and warehouse. This is a fast-paced, hands-on environment where you'll play a direct part in manufacturing mattresses used by customers across the UK.
This is an active, physically demanding role involving regular manual handling.
Duties
- Carry out mattress production tasks — assembly, sewing, quilting, spring unit build, or finishing, depending on role
- Operate production machinery safely and in line with training
- Handle warehouse duties including stock movement, picking, packing, and order preparation
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet our standards
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of health & safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work at a fast pace
- Good physical fitness, comfortable with regular manual handling
- Able to work well as part of a team
Desirable Experience
- Mattress making or bedding manufacturing experience
- Warehouse or stock handling experience
- Experience operating production machinery
