Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within commercial environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that office spaces are hygienic, tidy, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise office areas, including desks, chairs, floors, windows, and communal spaces
- Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchenettes and rest areas
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and specialised cleaning tools is desirable
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to learn new techniques and adhere to health and safety protocols
Pay: £12.90 per hour
