The Job
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals to join our friendly team this summer, from April through to October, OR ALL YEAR ROUND, to assist in the construction of a range of marquees across Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire, Dorset and Gloucestershire.
The role will involve:
- Working outdoors constructing and dismantling marquees.
- Loading and unloading vehicles on-site and at base.
- Maintenance of equipment.
And may also include:
- Driving company vehicles to and from location.
You will be expected to work longer days than the usual 9-5 and may be required to work weekends on occasion. You will be required to begin work at 7am during the busy periods.
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:
- Willing to work outside on a daily basis.
- Physically fit and ready to work long days.
- Practical in nature and willing to be on your feet all day.
- A reliable and punctual team member.
- Able to follow specific instructions and execute them efficiently.
-Able to commute to our premises, public transport is not an option.
- Be able to commit to working the full season without more than one weeks break.
- Be able to work Full time until the end of September
It is desirable but not essential that you have:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- A full UK driving license.
This role is suitable for anybody wishing to undertake physical work outdoors and/or students seeking rewarding employment over the summer period, or looking for an all-year management role in our business.

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time
Hours: 40 per week or more if wanted
Pay: Under 18 £8.50, £10 after induction , 18-20 £10 before induction, £11.50 once inducted. 21 and over £12.71 increasing if you can both drive and pass induction. People who show initiative and can lead on site can be paid more.
We like to offer a paid trial day before a job offer is issued. There is an induction period while you learn the basics, this usually takes 1-2 weeks depending on how keen you are. You need to complete the induction to go onto the highest pay rate for your age bracket.
