Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service
- Ensure all food safety regulations and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
- Manage food production processes, including ordering supplies and inventory control
- Lead menu development initiatives in collaboration with management
- Train new team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to uphold brand standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
- Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing teams effectively
- Good understanding of food production processes and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
