Job Summary:
Kaka Chemicals Africa Supply & Distribution Ltd is seeking a Chief Operations Officer to lead supply, distribution, and business operations while supporting safe and sustainable growth. This role suits an experienced executive who can strengthen operational performance, guide teams, and improve service delivery.
What you'll do:
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organisational goals to enhance overall performance.
- Lead, motivate, and manage departmental heads to ensure cohesive and efficient operations across all functions.
- Oversee daily business activities, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development within the organisation.
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership team to establish organisational priorities and strategic plans.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for the board of directors on operational progress.
- Manage stakeholder relationships internally and externally to support organisational growth initiatives.
- Lead change management initiatives effectively during periods of organisational transformation or expansion.
Requirements:
- Senior leadership experience in operations, supply chain, distribution, or a related field.
- Strong commercial, strategic, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent executive experience.

Pay: £78,000.00-£120,000.00 per year
