Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to complete multiple deliveries across designated routes in a timely manner
- Load, unload, and organize goods with care, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Follow planned routes using GPS or navigation systems to optimize delivery efficiency
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each stop
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs
- Uphold safety protocols and traffic laws at all times during deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, with a strong focus on customer service
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is preferred
- Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy lifting is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of driving or standing
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and navigation tools
