About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mobile Field Service Engineer to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, fault finding and repairs on plant and equipment at customer sites and within our workshop.
This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting customers and solving mechanical and electrical problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve breakdowns
- Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete service reports and relevant paperwork accurately
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment
- Work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a similar Field Service Engineer / Plant Engineer role
- Confident diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Able to work independently and manage their own workload
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Safety-conscious and committed to completing work to a high standard
- Flexible and willing to travel to customer sites
- A full UK driving licence holder
A recognised engineering qualification or relevant industry experience would be advantageous.
