Job Summary
Kirkley & Pakefield Football Club is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Matchday Kitchen Assistants to join our friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great food and excellent customer service. Previous kitchen experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook simple takeaway food during matchdays and club events.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures, including the correct storage and handling of ingredients.
- Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any faults or maintenance issues.
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly.
- Help maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the shift.
About You

Experience
While previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, café, or hospitality setting is an advantage, it isn't essential. We welcome applicants who have:

- Good communication skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- An understanding of food hygiene and safety (desirable but not essential).
