Fire & Flood Restoration Technician
Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
£34,500 per year + Overtime + Pension
We are an independent fire and flood restoration company, working with some of the UK’s leading insurance companies and restoration networks. From domestic homes to commercial premises, we help customers recover from fire, flood, and escape of water damage with professionalism and care.
We are now looking for a Restoration Technician to join our team at our offices and warehouse in Wellingborough.
The Role
- Inspect damaged properties and/or contents following fire, flood, or escape of water incidents using our on-site data capture app.
- Liaise with customers, insurers, loss adjusters, and suppliers to progress jobs efficiently.
- Compile reports and add costs to our internal management system.
- Use hand and power tools to mitigate further damage at first inspection.
- Carry out strip-out works and mould remediation where required.
What We’re Looking For
✅ BDMA-qualified Technician (or working towards qualification) or IICRC Restoration Water Technician.
✅ Previous experience in restoration or a related trade would be an advantage.
✅ Full UK driving licence (held for at least 5 years, with no more than 6 points).
✅ Practical skills with tools and a willingness to work hands-on.
✅ Strong communication and customer service skills.
Hours & Benefits
- Full-time, permanent: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch).
- Salary: £34,500 per annum, paid monthly. rising to £36,000 dependant on qualifications.
