We’re recruiting for a Maintenance Support team memberto assist our Site Services team with basic maintenance tasks across our site.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and skilled Maintenance/Handy Person to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our premises safe, functional, and well‑maintained. If you enjoy problem‑solving, working independently, and taking pride in a job well done, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance across the site
- Perform basic joinery, painting, and decorating tasks
- Conduct regular inspections to identify issues before they become problems
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Ensure external areas (car parks, walkways, grounds) are safe and tidy
- Liaise with external contractors when required
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies effectively
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Minimum 20 hour contract - we are open to flexibility on shift pattern and weekly hours
Skills & Experience
- Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
- Good practical skills across basic trades (carpentry, painting, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Problem‑solving mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of safety in the workplace
