We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing excellent care to our residents in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those under their care.
Duties:- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating- Support residents with mobility and provide assistance with walking- Monitor and record residents' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues- Maintain accurate records and update care plans as necessary- Use IT systems to document resident information accurately
Experience:- Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is desirable- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and colleagues effectively- Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposes (experience preferred but not essential, full training will be given during introductory period)
