Cornerways Homes is recruiting Residential Support Workers to support young people (5–17) with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), trauma, and complex needs.
Work within a small, therapeutic children’s home supported by a clinical psychologist, delivering trauma-informed care and positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality residential childcare
- Support young people with EBD and behavioural needs
- Act as a Key Worker and build trusted relationships
- Deliver care plans, risk assessments & behaviour support strategies
- Promote safeguarding, emotional wellbeing & stability
- Work with multi-agency teams (social workers, therapists, education)
Requirements
- Experience in residential care, support work, youth work or social care
- Understanding of EBD, trauma-informed care & safeguarding
- Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred or working towards)
- Strong communication, resilience and teamwork
