Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum

We are looking to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a newly established children’s residential home in Bolton. This is a rare opportunity to open, register, and shape a home from the ground up, embedding a strong culture of safeguarding, high standards, and child-centred care from day one.
You will play a key role in:
- The Ofsted registration process
- Recruiting and developing a skilled staff team
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and aspirational home for children and young people

Key Responsibilities
- Registering the home with Ofsted and maintaining ongoing compliance
- Ensuring the home meets the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Providing strong leadership and supervision to staff
- Promoting positive behaviour and trauma-informed care
- Ensuring robust safeguarding and safer-recruitment practices
- Building positive relationships with children, families, professionals, and placing authorities
- Leading the home through Ofsted inspections with confidence

About You
You will:
- Hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent (or be working towards it)
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting within the last 5 years
- Have experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulations
- Be confident in opening and developing a new service
- Be resilient, values-led, and committed to achieving positive outcomes for children
