Who Can Foster?
You can apply if you:
- Are aged 21 or over, there is no upper age limit.
- Have the time, commitment and nurturing skills to care for a child
- Have a spare bedroom (for children aged 2 and above)
- For babies 0-2 years, so spare bedroom required.
- Want to make a lasting difference to a child's future
You don't need formal qualifications, and many foster carers continue to work alongside fostering, depending on the type of care they provide.
What You'll Do
As a foster carer, you'll provide a safe, stable and caring home for a child while working alongside professionals from social work, health and education as part of the Team Around the Child.
