Chartwell Trust Care are looking for a Team Leader to join our homes supporting people to live a fulfilling life. At Chartwell Trust Care, we believe in providing excellent person-centred support to all of our residents. You will be working at our Residential Home.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support care staff in delivering high-quality care to residents.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans and any relevant paperwork is completed to a high standard.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure a supportive environment and smooth running of the home.
- Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in senior care and IT systems relevant to the role.
- You'll also provide quality care to our residents
- You'll be the first point of contact for our Support Workers and will work alongside the Deputy and Registered Managers to complete management tasks to a high standard.
- Drive initiatives that enhance resident well-being and satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a care home or similar environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of senior care practices and the ability to implement effective care plans.
- Proficiency in IT systems used for managing resident information and care documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with staff, residents, and families.
- Holding or working towards an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care
