Do you believe children thrive through strong relationships, purposeful play and high-quality care?
If you're an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking to join a nursery where your professional judgement is valued, children are genuinely known as individuals, and high standards go hand in hand with warmth and kindness, we'd love to hear from you.
At Nurture and Grow Childcare, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, confident and inspired to learn. We combine genuine care with clear systems and high expectations, creating an environment where children, families and practitioners can all flourish.
About Us
Nurture and Grow Childcare is a well-established nursery caring for children from birth through to pre-school.
Our practice is guided by our Seeds of Learning curriculum, which supports practitioners to create meaningful, developmentally appropriate experiences based on children's interests, individual needs and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). It combines purposeful planning with responsive teaching, ensuring every child is supported to make progress while feeling secure, understood and celebrated.
We are organised, professional and ambitious for every child—but never at the expense of the relationships that matter most.
The Role
As a Level 3 Practitioner, you'll play an important part in helping children feel happy, confident and excited to learn each day.
Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with your key children and their families.
- Observe, assess and support children's development using our Seeds of Learning approach.
- Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that follow children's interests and promote their next steps.
- Create a calm, nurturing and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
- Support daily routines that help children feel secure and develop independence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care, learning and safeguarding.
- Contribute to planning meetings, reflective practice and the continuous development of the nursery.
- Celebrate children's achievements and communicate their progress confidently with families.
Every day is different. From sharing stories and messy play to outdoor adventures, creative experiences and celebrating those magical "I did it!" moments, you'll help create memories that last a lifetime.
About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about early years and understands the lasting impact that positive relationships have on children's development.
You'll have:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
- Experience using observation and assessment systems.
- Excellent communication skills with children, families and colleagues.
- A caring, patient, and positive approach.
