Class 1 & 2 Recovery Driver
Surrey Recovery Ltd is looking for experienced Class 1 and Class 2 recovery drivers to join our growing team, carrying out vehicle recovery and transportation work across Surrey and the surrounding areas.
We operate both light and heavy recovery vehicles and are looking for professional, reliable drivers who already have experience within the vehicle recovery or transportation industry.
The role
- Your duties will include:
- Carrying out light and heavy vehicle recovery work
- Recovering and transporting cars, vans and commercial vehicles
- Loading, securing and unloading vehicles safely
- Attending roadside, accident and breakdown recoveries
- Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Taking care of company recovery vehicles and equipment
- Communicating professionally with customers, garages, businesses and other road users
- Following safe working practices at all times
Requirements
- Applicants must have:
- A valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence
- Previous vehicle recovery experience
- A good understanding of safe vehicle loading and securing
- A professional and responsible approach to driving
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently
- Flexibility when required
Previous recovery experience is essential.
Working pattern
- Self-employed position
- Primarily Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend shifts
- Work covering Surrey and surrounding areas
Training
IVR recovery training will be provided where required.
