Workshop Technician – Agricultural & Plant Refurbishment
Location: Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan

GOAT Agricultural & Plant Restoration is a growing specialist business focused on the refurbishment, restoration, blasting, painting and detailing of agricultural machinery, plant equipment, trailers and commercial vehicles.
We are looking for a practical, motivated and reliable individual to join our team and help build an exciting business from the ground up.
This is a varied hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys working with machinery, takes pride in quality workmanship and is willing to turn their hand to a range of workshop activities.
Main Duties
- Agricultural and plant machinery preparation
- Shot blasting and surface preparation
- Spray painting and refinishing
- Valeting and detailing of machinery and vehicles
- Mechanical fitting and assembly work
- Basic fabrication and workshop maintenance
- Loading, unloading and moving equipment around the yard
- General workshop duties as required
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in spray painting, agricultural machinery, plant equipment, vehicle refinishing, fabrication or mechanical fitting
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and trustworthy with good references
- Forklift, telehandler, welding or agricultural experience would be advantageous but not essential
