We are looking for experienced multi-drop drivers who:
- are able to work alone,
- able to meet a demanding delivery target, and
- passionate about providing a consistent high level of customer service.
Typical hours: 7am to 4pm
Using a commercial motor vehicle, as a driver and member of our team you will be responsible for:
- The safe, effective, customer and business focused delivery of a range of Crosswater stock to business user’s and end user’s across the UK
- Maintain own and others awareness of key Health and Safety practices (including manual handling)
- Ensure vehicle is driven in a safe and fuel efficient manner
- Manual Handling
- Working in a team environment
- Processing paperwork
- Operating IT-systems as required
- Working within a physically demanding environment
- Operating Mechanical Handling Equipment
- Transportation and delivery of products
- Complying with local legislative requirements & company policies and procedures
- Representing Crosswater in a professional manner to customers
Local accountabilities and KPIs:
- Follow customer specific procedures
- Maintain regular contact with Transport team
- Report any excesses, shortages or damage to supervisor in a timely manner in line with local requirements
- Secure loads effectively and ensure loads are within the weight limits
- Complete routine vehicle checks
- Comply with appropriate working time legislation
- Achieve local driver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Comply fully with the process for returns back into the warehouse
- Scanning of product when delivering to customer through the Epod. system
- Report any hazards through the Connected Safety Mobile App.
Pay: £13.71 per hour
