Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service in a warm and friendly environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality sector, particularly in catering, serving, and food presentation. Previous experience in restaurant settings or barista roles is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle payments using the POS system and provide correct change or receipts
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times, including proper handling and presentation of food items
- Assist with setting up catering events or special functions as required
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to guests
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring all guests have an enjoyable experience
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant service will be considered an advantage
- Barista experience is a plus for roles involving beverage preparation
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Organised with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Pay: £12.21-£16.98 per hour
