About the opportunity
We are looking for a friendly, confident and experienced Sports Massage Therapist to join the goPhysio team on an initial four-week fixed-term contract, providing cover for team sickness absence.
We have up to 12 hours available each week and would welcome applications from therapists able to cover all or part of these hours. The working pattern can be discussed and agreed with the successful applicant.
There may be an opportunity to extend the contract or continue with flexible hours afterwards, depending on the needs of the clinic, although this cannot be guaranteed.
About goPhysio
goPhysio is an established, family-run physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic in Chandler’s Ford. Our multidisciplinary team provides physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, sports massage and Clinical Pilates, all with a shared goal of helping people remain active and enjoy doing the things they love.
You will be joining a friendly, supportive team in a busy clinic with an established patient base, excellent facilities and free on-site parking.
The role
You will:
- Deliver high-quality sports and remedial massage treatments
- Assess each client’s needs and provide appropriate treatment
- Work confidently with a varied caseload
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Provide suitable self-management advice within your professional scope
- Communicate effectively with our physiotherapy and rehabilitation team
- Deliver a welcoming and professional experience for every client
- Follow goPhysio’s clinical, operational and safeguarding procedures
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Level 3 Sports Massage qualification or above
- Has experience delivering sports or remedial massage
- Is confident working independently within a busy clinical environment
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is reliable, organised and able to join us at short notice
- Shares our commitment to integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect and excellence
- Is eligible to work in the UK
Previous experience in a physiotherapy, sports injury or multidisciplinary clinic would be helpful but is not essential.
