Join Sam's Gutters & Roofs
We're looking for an organised, confident and enthusiastic Sales Administrator to join our growing team in East Grinstead.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a year's customer service or sales experience who wants to develop a career in sales. You don't need roofing knowledge, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
You'll be one of the first points of contact for our customers, helping us deliver excellent service while supporting our sales team behind the scenes.
What you'll be doing
- First point of contact for answering incoming customer calls.
- Contacting recent customers to discuss further services they may benefit from.
- Logging new customer enquiries accurately into our CRM system.
- Responding to emails.
- Reviewing photographs from completed jobs to identify any visible maintenance issues that may require a quotation (such as damaged roof tiles, worn pointing or gutter defects).
- Updating spreadsheets and our CRM.
- Supporting the sales team with general administrative tasks.
- Helping ensure every customer receives a professional and friendly experience.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 1 year's experience in a customer service or sales role (retail/shop floor experience is absolutely welcomed).
- Is confident speaking with customers over the phone.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Is comfortable using computers, writing emails, Microsoft Office and learning new software.
- Has good attention to detail.
- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Can spot opportunities and isn't afraid to make recommendations.
- Is friendly, positive and enjoys helping customers.
