We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our busy restaurant and deliver an outstanding dining experience for every customer. You'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring excellent service, high food quality, and a well-organised team. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, develop your team, and help drive the success of the business. Enjoy the benefit of retail-style working hours, with no evenings or split shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and support the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant.
- Recruit, train and develop team members, ensuring high standards are maintained.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas and labour costs effectively.
- Ensure consistently high standards of food presentation, cleanliness and customer experience.
- Manage ordering, stock control, stock rotation and minimise waste.
- Complete all food safety, hygiene and operational checks accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen and health & safety regulations.
- Monitor budgets, gross profit and operating costs to support a profitable business.
- Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving any issues promptly and positively.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
PrerequisitesKey Skills & Attributes
- Previous experience managing a restaurant or high-volume hospitality operation.
- A confident leader with the ability to inspire, coach and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong focus on customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
- Good understanding of food safety, allergen management and health & safety legislation.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing costs, labour and stock.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Duration
Full-time – Includes alternate weekend working. Enjoy retail-style hours with no evenings or split shifts.
