Experienced, Qualified Dental Nurse –To work within our fully private practice full-time Monday to Friday OR Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
An excellent and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, qualified Dental Nurse to join the friendly and professional team at 45 The Green Dental Practice, a well-established, fully private practice in Banbury.
We care for an established base of private patients and provide an exceptional range of modern dental care under one roof, from general and restorative dentistry through to digital dentistry, cosmetic treatments, implants, and sedation.
We are looking for a nurse who takes genuine pride in their work, understands the standards expected within a fully private practice and enjoys being part of a busy, supportive team.
Working hours
- Monday to Friday OR Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- 8:30 am–6:00 pm
- The full-time position would include the opportunity to work on reception and handle some in-house administration. This can be discussed during the interview process.
- One-hour unpaid lunch break each day
- One Saturday morning per month, paid at £16.00 per hour
- Opportunities for additional hours and holiday cover, if wanted
- Evening interviews available Monday to Friday
- Start date by agreement
Salary
£14.50–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality chairside support
- Nursing across general, restorative and advanced dental treatments
- Preparing and maintaining surgeries to excellent clinical standards
- Sharing decontamination duties with the nursing team
- Following all cross-infection control and compliance procedures
- Supporting the smooth running of the clinical day
- Working collaboratively with dentists, nurses, reception and management
- Helping us deliver an excellent experience for every patient
There will also be opportunities to gain experience and work alongside clinicians who provide dental implants and sedation.
The person we are looking for
You must:
- Be a qualified and currently GDC-registered Dental Nurse
- Have at least one year of dental nursing experience
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Be able to commute reliably to Banbury OX16 9AB, ideally within approximately 30 minutes
- Be dependable, punctual and professionally presented
- Be friendly, confident and reassuring with patients
- Be organised and capable of working on your own initiative
- Be willing to contribute to shared duties, including decontamination
- Work well as part of a busy and supportive team
- Be committed to maintaining high clinical and compliance standards
Experience using Exact dental software, or a similar practice-management system, would be beneficial.
