The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Extrusion Team Member to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business within the plastics industry.
As part of an experienced production team, you will receive full training and ongoing support to develop your skills in setting and operating plastic extrusion machinery. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

What you'll do:
- Set up, operate, and monitor plastic extrusion machinery following full training.
- Ensure all products meet strict quality standards and customer specifications.
- Carry out regular quality checks against retained samples and production requirements.
- Maintain production output in line with established targets and standard operating times.
- Complete all production documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the production area.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow company policies and procedures at all times.
- Work closely with team leaders and colleagues to ensure smooth production operations.
Who we are looking for:
- Someone with previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment.
- Be experienced in working within a plastic extrusion manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential).
- Someone who posses a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards work individual.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a rotating 3 x 2 (12 hour shift pattern).
