Are you organised, proactive and looking for a varied office role within a friendly, family-run business?
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a thriving local business with excellent benefits. At Partridge Lakes, we're proud to offer a wide range of facilities all in one unique lakeside location, including Partridge Lakes Fishery, Partridge Lakes Café, Partridge Lakes Tackle & Bait Shop, Partridge Park, and Partridge Lakes Events.
As a small, independent business based in Culcheth, Warrington, we're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Office Administrator to join our close-knit office team.
Each member of our office is responsible for supporting different areas of the business, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, is happy to get involved wherever needed, and can provide valuable administrative support across all departments.
The Role
This is a part-time position, ideally working 3 days per week, 6 hours per day (approximately 18 hours per week).
Our preferred working days are Monday and Thursday, with flexibility on the third day. We are happy to discuss alternative working patterns for the right candidate.
No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to support multiple areas of the business.
Typical Duties Will Include:
- General office administration and day-to-day business support.
- Processing and placing orders for the café.
- Providing excellent customer service by answering telephone calls and responding to customer emails.
- Responding to social media enquiries and messages.
- Assisting with basic marketing activities to support our marketing and social media team.
- Creating posters, menus and promotional material for café offers and events.
- Updating website content across different areas of the business.
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting with bookings, enquiries and general administration.
- Supporting other office team members with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Supporting the wider business during busy periods, including assisting with event preparation and set-up, helping in the café with tasks such as putting away deliveries and keeping the dining area clean and tidy, and lending a hand wherever needed. As a small family-run business, we work together as one team, and everyone is happy to support different areas of the business when required.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Is reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in their work.
- Is confident using general computer systems.
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enjoys working as part of a small, supportive team.
- Is flexible and willing to support different areas of the business when required. We're a small family-run team, so we're looking for someone who isn't afraid to jump in, help colleagues, and contribute wherever needed.
- Can manage a varied workload and adapt to changing priorities.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and is willing to learn.
- Previous administration experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), Canva, Facebook & Instagram, Ticket Tailor, WordPress or similar software would be an advantage.
What We Offer
- Part-time hours (approximately 18 hours per week).
- 50% colleague discount on food and drinks from our onsite café whilst on shift.
