We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable students to join our friendly production team at John Drury & Co in HD6 1NJ.
This is a zero-hours, flexible role, making it ideal for someone studying at college or studying A Levels who wants to fit work around their studies.

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:
You'll be part of our production team helping to pack and palletise bar and liquid soap products for our customers.
Your duties will include:
- Packing finished soap products.
- Checking products and packaging meet our quality standards.
- Checking labels, seals and date codes.
- Building and wrapping pallets.
- Keeping your work area clean and tidy.
- Following straightforward production and safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Moving between different areas of the production line throughout the day.
You don't need to know anything about soap manufacturing – we'll teach you everything you need to know.
What sort of person are we looking for?
You don't need experience. We are much more interested in your attitude.
You should be:
- Hardworking and willing to get stuck in.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Friendly and a good team player.
- Keen to learn.
- Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Physically able to lift boxes weighing up to 10kg.
This is a hands-on job, and you'll spend much of your time standing and moving around the production area. Our team normally rotates between different parts of the production line approximately every 30 minutes.

You must be able to easily and reliably get to work, as this is important for a role where shifts may be offered at short notice.
