We’re looking for a Greenkeeper to join our course team and help us keep our golf course in fantastic condition for our members and guests.

What you’ll be doing
Every day is different in greenkeeping. You’ll play an important role in maintaining the course to a high standard, working across greens, tees, fairways, bunkers and surrounding areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a wide range of professional mowing equipment across greens, tees, fairways, surrounds and roughs.
- Using specialist machinery including top dressers, aerifiers, spreaders, tractors and other powered equipment.
- Carrying out general course maintenance, including hole changing, bunker raking, divot filling and turf care.
- Watering the course and developing your knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Supporting tree and shrub planting, pruning and woodland clearance.
- Assisting with course improvement projects and landscaping work, including turfing and seeding.
- Carrying out general drainage work, including clearing and maintaining ditches.
- Helping maintain, clean and repair course machinery, equipment and golf course furniture.
- Supporting the painting and upkeep of course accessories and general repairs.
- Working safely and responsibly at all times, with consideration for colleagues, members, guests and the local environment.
- Continuing to learn and develop your knowledge of golf course maintenance through training and hands-on experience.
You’ll work closely with the Course Manager and Deputy Course Manager, gaining valuable experience across all areas of course maintenance.

- Enthusiastic about greenkeeping and working outdoors.
- Reliable, hardworking and keen to learn.
- A good team player with a positive attitude.
- Comfortable working with machinery or keen to develop these skills.
- Committed to working safely and maintaining high standards.
- Interested in developing a long-term career in greenkeeping.
NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf or Greenkeeping is preferred, but not essential.
