Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, positive and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team in a Chiropractic Clinic. You will take over an existing patient base of clients and the clinic also pays for some new patients to try your service for 30 minutes to help you constantly have a busy schedule. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques such as for example Swedish massage, sports massage, reflexology and have a strong knowledge of human anatomy.
As a massage therapist you will earn 40% of the payment for the massage. You will be working as self-employed within the clinic.
This is a part time position for 2-3 days a week. Which particular days, can be discussed with the owners of the clinic. You will have a separate massage room and the front desk will take care of the admin side for you so you can focus on what you do best.
Start date for this position will be the week commencing 5th of October 2026.
Responsibilities
- Have short consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments, medical records and progress.
- Create a calming atmosphere by ensuring the treatment room is clean, organised, and inviting.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, chiropractic care and self-care practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques and chiropractic care.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.
- Be on time and be a good team player
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist .
- Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective treatment.
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning new techniques.
