Job Overview:
JODA Freight are a general haulage company with a fleet of over 60 vehicle and 3 warehouses. We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to cover pallet network deliveries and collections in the Leeds area
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient transportation
- Follow route plan to hit delivery times
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
Skills and qualifications
- Class 2 driver's license **no more than 6 points**
-Valid DCPC
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Physical stamina to load/unload cargo and perform routine vehicle inspections
