Job Overview
We are looking for a production manager to join our rapidly growing sheet metal fabrication company based in Worthing, West Sussex. The successful candidate must have previous experience working within the sheet metal industry. This is a progressive role with opportunities to progress within the company.
Responsibilities
- Production planning and scheduling
- Delegating workshop staff
- Dealing with subcontractors
- Arranging logistics and transport for deliveries
- Ensuring on time delivery of orders and providing
- Providing technical support to workshop staff
- Quality control
- Ensuring that health and safety procedures are followed by workshop staff
- Updating of order book regularly in line with statues of live orders.
Skills required
- Sheet metal experience
- Able to understand fabrication/technical drawings
- Leadership skills
- Able to work as a team and on your own
Job information
- Monday to Friday 7:30 to 16:00 (40 hour week)
- 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
